What is Giving Tuesday?
Founded in 2012, this global movement of generosity occurs the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (December 3, 2024) and aims to inspire people to support their favorite causes. It’s a time to reflect on what we are thankful for and express gratitude to others by giving back.
Why Optimist Dinghies?
These small single-handed dinghies are designed for young sailors, ranging from ages 6 to 15. The Opti is known for its stability, durability and ease of use, making it ideal for beginners. Its simple rigging allows sailors to focus on essential skills like balance, steering, and sail trimming, providing a solid foundation for recreational sailors, future olympians and all things inbetween.
